Peridot Stones

Peridot (Zabarjad), the August birthstone, from ₹1,200 per carat. Peridot comes in only one colour: the iron that makes it green is part of the mineral itself rather than a chance impurity, so there is no other shade to look for. It is worn as the upratna for Emerald (Panna), for Mercury (Budh), usually on an astrologer's advice. Peridot is rarely treated, so the colour you see is the stone's own. At Mohs 6.5 to 7 it is sensitive to acids and to sudden temperature change, so avoid steam and ultrasonic cleaning. Each stone comes with a lab report from an ISO 9001:2015-certified laboratory.
