1. Scope and Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to all visitors and buyers on ratnagems.com. By accessing our site, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy.
2. Product Descriptions & Authenticity
Gemstones and Rudraksha beads are supplied with lab reports for authenticity verification.
We make no medical or supernatural claims. Our focus is strictly on gemological authenticity.
Any heat or color enhancements (e.g. Bangkok Pukhraj) are clearly disclosed on product pages.
- Included free: every gemstone is supplied with a report from an ISO-accredited gemological laboratory at no additional charge. You do not need to request it and you are never charged for it.
- Optional international reports: a GIA or IGI report can be arranged on request where the laboratory accepts the item. This is only necessary if you specifically want an international laboratory report.
- Charges depend on the laboratory, whether you want the origin stated, and the weight of the stone. The exact amount for your stone is confirmed in writing before your order is placed.
- Payable in advance and non-refundable: certification charges must be paid before the stone is submitted, and are not refundable once it has been sent to the laboratory - the laboratory bills for the examination whatever it concludes, including if it does not confirm the origin you hoped for.
- Adds roughly 7-10 days: certification is carried out by an independent laboratory, so dispatch of a certified stone takes about seven to ten days longer than our normal delivery estimate. That period is outside our control.
GII — Gemmological Institute of India
India’s first gem testing laboratory, founded in Mumbai in 1971. Recognised by CIBJO and approved as a scientific research organisation by the Department of Science & Technology.

A long-established Indian gem testing laboratory, widely used across the trade and formerly trading as IGI-GTL. Charged at a flat rate whatever your stone weighs.

3. Pricing and Payments
All prices on ratnagems.com are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST.
- Prepaid Online Payment: Processed through secure RBI-licensed payment gateways (Razorpay) supporting Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, and UPI.
- Cash on Delivery (COD): Available for eligible Indian orders below ₹50,000. Products marked prepaid-only, including custom gemstone bracelets, are excluded. A non-refundable ₹100 handling fee applies to eligible COD orders.
- International Prepaid: All international shipments require prepaid checkout. COD is not available outside India.
