Yes. Ratna Gems™ is an enrolled Associate Member of The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) (Membership No: GJEPC/HO-MUM (M)/7000104992/AM/I, Coloured Gemstones Panel).

The GJEPC is the apex body for the gem and jewellery trade in India, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. Membership in the Council binds us to ethical trade practices, honest gemstone disclosures, and compliance with national standards.

Every gemstone comes with a report from an ISO-certified gemological laboratory at no extra charge. You do not have to ask for it or pay for it.

A GII, IIGJ, or IGI report is only needed if you specifically want that laboratory’s report. It can be arranged on request, and the charge depends on the laboratory, the report (GII, for the stones it names, and IIGJ offer one with origin), the weight of the stone and, for GII, the kind of stone:

GII — Gemmological Institute of India
A gem testing laboratory and gemmology institute in Mumbai, set up in 1971 by the Gem & Jewellery Exporters’ Association (GJEA) and a project of the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).

Corundum (ruby, sapphires), beryl (emerald), chrysoberyl (chrysoberyl cat’s eye, alexandrite), tanzanite, diamond and moissanite

All other gemstones, including coral and quartz cat’s eye

GII does not test pearls, amber or Rudraksha.

IIGJ — IIGJ Research & Laboratories (GJEPC Gem Testing Laboratory)
Premier Indian gem testing laboratory operated under the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC, Ministry of Commerce), formerly trading as IGI-GTL Delhi and GTL Jaipur.

IGI — International Gemological Institute
A globally recognized independent gemological laboratory established in 1975, operating accredited testing laboratories worldwide including Antwerp, Mumbai, Surat, and New York.

• Every gemstone already includes a report from an ISO-certified gemological laboratory at no charge. A GII, IIGJ, or IGI report is only needed if you specifically want that laboratory’s report.
• Certification charges are payable in advance and are non-refundable once the stone has been submitted to the laboratory — the laboratory bills for the examination whatever it concludes.
• Certification adds roughly 15–20 days to delivery. That period is set by the laboratory and is outside our control.
• Origin determination is not always possible. GII (for the stones it names) and IIGJ sell a separate origin report; where they cannot establish origin they issue the report without it, and the charge still applies. IGI issues one Colored Stone Identification Report and prints the origin on it only when it can be determined.
• GII and IGI charges include the laboratory’s 18% GST and 10% for courier to the laboratory and handling, rounded up to the next ₹50.
• Reports are arranged for loose gemstones. You can select your preferred laboratory directly on the product page before checkout, with charges calculated automatically by carat weight.

Use the included report to cross-check product details such as gemstone identity, weight, shape, and treatment disclosure if any. We also back eligible products with our Authenticity Guarantee.

Yes. We stock natural gemstones as well as more affordable treated stones, such as Bangkok Pukhraj, Neelam and Manik, which are heated and glass-filled. Every treatment is stated on the product page.

Natural stones are formed in nature. Some natural gemstones may also be treated, such as through heating, to improve color or clarity. Treated stones are usually more affordable, and we disclose treatment details when treatment is present.

Yes, COD is available for eligible orders within India, subject to the following conditions:

• Product eligibility: Products marked prepaid-only—including custom gemstone bracelets—cannot be ordered with COD. A mixed cart containing one is also prepaid-only.
• India Only: COD is not available for international orders. International customers must use prepaid methods (cards, UPI, net banking, or bank transfer).
• Order Value Cap: COD is available for eligible orders below ₹50,000 (no minimum). Orders of ₹50,000 or above require prepaid payment.
• Pincode Serviceability: COD depends on courier serviceability at your delivery pincode. If COD is not available for your pincode, you will be notified at checkout.
• Handling Fee: A ₹100 COD handling fee is added to eligible COD orders to cover additional processing costs.

If COD is not available for your order, please use cards, UPI, net banking, or bank transfer.

No. Couriers cannot open packages before payment. Please ensure your address and contact details are correct to avoid issues.

Yes. You can design a custom gemstone bracelet with approximately 8mm beads, choosing 21–27 beads and their exact sequence. Custom bracelets are made to order and require prepaid online payment. We do not currently offer gemstone ring setting or other jewelry-setting services.

Yes, unless you sign up with your Google account. If you sign in with your mobile number, or create an account with your email address and a password, we send a 6-digit one-time code (OTP) to your mobile number, and entering it proves the number is yours. If your number already has a Ratna Gems account, you can sign in to that account instead of making a second one. With Google, no phone verification is needed.

Yes, an account is required to place an order. You can sign in with your mobile number (a one-time code is sent to it), with your Google account, or with your email address and a password — on our website and in our Android app. Having an account helps us track your orders, process returns smoothly, and provide better customer support. Creating an account with an email address and a password also needs your mobile number, confirmed with a one-time code.

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, Ratna Gems provides a structured customer grievance redressal process:

Yes. We provide free tracked delivery across all postal pincodes in India on all prepaid orders using our multi-carrier logistics network (including Delhivery, Amazon Shipping, and India Post Speed Post for remote areas).

For Cash on Delivery (COD), serviceability depends on whether our courier partners support cash collection at your specific destination pincode, which is instantly checked when you enter your address at checkout.

After dispatch, you’ll receive a tracking number by email, SMS, or WhatsApp to monitor delivery on the courier’s site.

Yes, we ship to selected international destinations. International shipping is chargeable at a flat rate per destination country, shown at checkout and listed on our Shipping & Delivery Policy page. Delivery usually takes about 7–15 business days depending on the destination and customs clearance. All international orders require prepaid payment. COD is not available for international shipments.

Yes, until it is dispatched — orders are usually dispatched within 24–48 hours. Contact us straight away with your order number on WhatsApp or phone at +91 70679 39337, or email admin@ratnagems.com. If you paid online, we refund the payment to the original payment method, and your bank then usually takes 7–10 business days to show the credit; an optional laboratory report already sent to the laboratory is not refundable. Once the order has been dispatched, our 7-day return policy applies instead.

For orders shipped outside India, your country’s customs authority may charge import duty and/or VAT/GST before or at delivery. These charges are levied by the destination country, not by Ratna Gems™.

International orders are shipped on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis unless clearly stated otherwise. If applicable, local import duties or taxes may be collected by the courier or customs authority before or at delivery. These charges are not included in your checkout total.

Customs duty and destination-country taxes vary by country, product classification, order value, and the rules active on the date of import. For gemstones, customers usually need to check rates under HS Code 7103; for pearls, check HS Code 7101.

Please use your country’s official customs or tax website for the latest rate before placing an international order. We can share shipment details, but the final duty or tax decision is made by the destination-country authority.

Search for HS Code 7103 (precious/semi-precious stones) or 7101 (pearls) to find the applicable rates for gemstones.

For every international destination except the United Kingdom — the United States, Canada, UAE, Sri Lanka, Japan, Australia and the GCC countries — there is no minimum order amount. However:

• United Kingdom (UK): A minimum order value of ₹15,000 (approximately £135) is required for UK deliveries. This ensures cost-effective shipping and smooth customs processing for high-value gemstone shipments.

All international orders require prepaid payment — COD is not available for international shipments.

Our product prices include Indian GST only. For international orders, prices are export zero-rated (0% GST), meaning you are not charged Indian tax.

However, your country may charge import duty and/or VAT/GST when the package is processed for import. These destination-country charges are not included in our prices or checkout total.

Some destinations may have lower duty rates because of trade agreements or local tariff rules, but the final amount is decided by the destination-country authority at the time of import.

We carry 1–14 Mukhi beads, rare Gauri Shankar, and Rudraksha malas, sourced from Nepal and Indonesia.

Yes. Rudraksha beads are supplied with lab reports for authenticity verification, so customers can verify the bead details with confidence.

We do not provide direct one-on-one astrology consultations. You can request a return or exchange within 7 days of delivery for eligible items. For approved returns, we refund the eligible product amount after inspection.

• Item condition: Unused, unchanged, and in original undamaged condition.
• Must include: All original tags, lab reports or certificates, and packaging.
• Not eligible: Custom-made or personalized items.
• For damaged/incorrect claims: An unboxing video is required for quick verification.
• COD orders: The ₹100 COD handling fee is non-refundable.

In most cases, the customer pays the return shipping cost. If the return is due to our error (for example: wrong item or confirmed issue based on verification), Ratna Gems™ will bear the return shipping cost as per our policy.

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, refunds are initiated within 2–3 business days (if the product is eligible and unchanged). Your bank/payment provider may take an additional 7–10 business days to reflect the amount in your account.

• COD orders: The ₹100 COD handling fee is non-refundable.
• International orders: Refunds are processed to the original payment method in INR.

The Authenticity Guarantee is designed for customer protection and covers whether your gemstone, Rudraksha or gemstone bracelet matches the authenticity details described on our product page and report.

What it covers: If you get your product re-verified at a reputed gem testing laboratory and the report confirms that it does not match our product description, you may be eligible for:

• Refund of the eligible purchase amount
• Reimbursement of Lab Testing Expenses (if invoice/receipt is enclosed with the returned product)

What it does NOT cover:

• Physical damage caused by customer use, wear, or mishandling
• Products that have been altered, treated, or modified by the customer
• Normal wear and tear from regular use

This guarantee is strictly for authenticity verification, not for damage caused by usage.

To claim the Authenticity Guarantee, follow these steps:

1. Get your gemstone or Rudraksha tested at a reputed gemstone testing laboratory.
2. Obtain a lab report stating the product does not match the description provided on our product page.
3. Contact our support team with the lab report.
4. Return the product along with:
   • Original box and packaging
   • Our original certificate
   • Original invoice/bill
   • Lab testing receipt/invoice (for expense reimbursement)
5. After verification, eligible claims receive a refund plus lab testing expense reimbursement as applicable.
