Every Blue Sapphire at Ratna Gems is individually tested and comes with a report from an independent gem testing laboratory. The certificate identifies the mineral species (Natural Corundum), gemstone variety (Natural Blue Sapphire), precise carat weight, refractive index (1.762–1.770), specific gravity (3.99–4.01), and its treatment status (for example, Untreated / Natural Silk). Each report carries its own report number, which you can quote to the laboratory to check it.
