Star Rubies, also referred to as Sitara Manik, constitute an uncommon variant of the Ruby gemstone.
These gemstones exhibit a pronounced six-rayed star pattern that appears to effortlessly traverse the surface of the stone upon movement.
This effect is the result of an optical phenomenon known as “Asterism.”
The luminous star pattern is most prominently observed when the Star Ruby is subjected to a solitary light source, such as sunlight or a spotlight.
